# Testnet Setup

> Prepare a wallet, test assets, and the right integration versions.

Use Monad testnet, chain ID `10143`, with a dedicated test wallet. The [deployment reference](/deployments/testnet) contains the current AccountCore, market, token, and wallet addresses.

## Fund your wallet

You need testnet MON for transactions you submit yourself and the test assets used by your chosen market. The current deployment uses admin-mintable dummy ERC-20s and has no public token faucet. Request those assets from your Kuru integration contact.

## Choose your route

For a first contract integration, install the [reviewed SDK release](/sdk/installation) and follow [First Trade](/sdk/quickstart). Direct transactions do not require a hosted Relay login.

For sponsored trading, follow [Delegated Trading with Relay](/sdk/relay-onboarding).

For frontend data, start with [Reading Market Data](/api/market-data) and [Account Activity](/api/account-activity).

## Before sending a transaction

Check the chain ID, target proxy, token decimals, market precision, and current market state. Read available funds and live permissions. Await successful receipts, then reconcile the resulting balance and order state.
