One Click Trading lets you place and cancel orders without signing a wallet transaction in your main wallet each time. It uses a passkey wallet powered by Mera, developed by Category Labs.

How it works

When you enable One Click Trading:
  1. Create a passkey wallet. Kuru creates a Mera wallet secured by your device’s passkey. You can use Face ID, Touch ID, or your device PIN to unlock it, depending on your device.
  2. Authorize trading. Your main wallet grants the passkey wallet trading permission for seven days.
  3. Set up trading access. Kuru configures a trading API key for the passkey wallet, which acts as an authorized signer for your account.
  4. Trade with one click. Place and cancel orders without manually approving each transaction in your main wallet.

Permissions and security

  • Trading only: The passkey wallet can trade on your behalf, but cannot withdraw funds.
  • Seven-day authorization: The trading permission expires after seven days. Renew it to keep using One Click Trading.
  • Main-wallet control: Your main wallet retains ownership of the account and can revoke the passkey wallet’s trading permission.
Trading permission can still change the value and composition of your holdings. For the full permission scope and revocation behavior, see Trading Permissions.
